I am just back from a 4 day trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia with Evolet Discovery, a reliable and transparent travel company. Now I feel like sharing my incredible journey experience. I am usually a solo traveller and was looking forward to visiting Angkor Wat for long. On sharing my plan to a relative of mine, who is in tourism, she actively had shared with me the number of the company owner. I found the shared information was a bit different from other tour organizers. Got it confirmed with another relative of mine and was decided to go ahead. Though the situation in the world is not very happy, I badly wanted a break from my regular work life. Everything went off well- I left home for Cambodia on the 12th. My immigration and travel experiences were splendid. I had a long layover at Bangkok Don Mueang Airport. Though some café made an attempt to cheat me, I was able to manage that. Reached safely Siem Reap on the 13th- one driver, Mr Boran, was waiting for me with his car from the tour organiser. In spite of language barrier and his English we were happy. He took care of my travel till the 16th. Here I must mention of Ms Kannika of the tour operation team and her care for my dinner daily! The next morning at the given time Mr Boran and Mr Steven came to pick me up for the trip and they had shown me the planned locations with great patience. Mr Steven is an expert guide with great knowledge about mythology, history, geography, tourism, religion and above all photography. I feel a bonding with him- he calls me grandmom and without him my travel wouldn’t been fruitful. I spent 3 nights there at Baitong Heritage Hotel. This hotel is located at a very central location, quite luxurious with excellent hospitality. The staff were good to me. One young man at reception was very caring with instant support. I went to Angkor Wat, Bonteay Srei Temple and several other temples. I also experienced some local ceremony; local market- Made in Cambodia; and watched local life style as well. In the evening and the last morning, I went on foot on my own. To me this trip was so special-. Starting from home to back it was my pleasure everywhere! I took the recommendations of my two relatives- found a new relative, who was behind the scene always and extending his care throughout. Under his care I was pampered with my food, stay and all little issues there in Cambodia- He is the proprietor of the company that is “built on trust and it ensures every journey is as dependable as it is memorable”.

He would check in with us daily via WhatsApp to make sure we were comfortable and that all arrangements were up to the mark. This level of remote support gave us immense peace of mind, allowing us to simply immerse ourselves in the stunning landscapes of Spiti.
